The True Story of the Greatest Cave Explorer Ever Known

This haunting musical, featuring a glorious folk and bluegrass-inspired score, tells the transcendent tale of a true American dreamer. In 1925, while chasing fame and fortune by turning a Kentucky cave into a tourist attraction, Floyd Collins himself becomes the attraction when he is trapped 200 feet underground.
Directed by Mary Nickles with musical direction by Todd Monsell.

Southern Rock Concert
April 16 – May 2, 2027
It’s time to rock, y’all! Come enjoy this original concert production featuring the hits of such bands as The Allman Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Charlie Daniels Band, ZZ Top, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. By the end of the night, you’ll want to stand up and yell, “Free Bird!”
Local Blues Legend
June 18-20, 2027
Pelzer native Mac Arnold’s career has spanned decades, touring as a bassist for Muddy Waters in the 1960s and playing with such greats as James Brown, John Lee Hooker, Otis Redding, and B.B. King. Mac brings his trademark gas can guitar and band, Plate Full O’ Blues, to our stage for the first time.

While Mill Town Players strives to produce quality family entertainment, our shows are not recommended for children under the age of four. All audience members regardless of age must have his or her own seat. As a courtesy to others, parents are asked to remove restless or noisy children from the auditorium.
Animals
No animals of any kind are allowed in the auditorium. Pets may not accompany audience members during the show. Service dogs are, of course, always welcome.
