Katie Halstensgard - Production Manager Katie Halstensgard graduated from Winthrop University with a BA in Theatre with K-12 teacher certification in 2011. She first moved to the Greenville area to teach at Berea High School, where she developed a Theatre program and taught for 6 years. Since moving to the area she has worked in several local theatres; some of her favorite work has been stage managing The Tempest at the Warehouse Theatre, directing You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at Easley Foothills Playhouse, and performing as the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland and as Angela in Honky Tonk Angels here at Mill Town Players. Katie has been stage managing at Mill Town Players off and on since Christmas in Dixie last season, and is so excited to be transitioning into the role of Production Manager this season. Katie has been married to her husband, Bruce, since her senior year of college (meaning he knew what he was getting into with this theatre life and still married her!) and has a spunky little boy named Nate, who you will probably see onstage one day!
